The University of Oregon baseball team will be entering their final season in the PAC-12 conference with a new partner, as the Ducks and Marucci Sports have agreed to a multi-year equipment partnership starting this fall.
“We are honored Coach Wasikowski and his staff chose to partner with us in their last year in the PAC-12, before they make the move into the Big Ten in 2025,” said Kurt Ainsworth, Co-Founder and CEO of Marucci Sports. “The University of Oregon has a strong commitment to being the best which mirrors our commitment to product development and service. We believe having the Ducks program use our bats and gloves will help build on their success under Coach Waz.”
Marucci will fly alongside the Ducks baseball team, fitting their athletes with industry-leading products. Developed with years of analytics and testing, Marucci metal has proven itself as some of the best bats in college athletics and been a part of many defining moments. The Ducks baseball players will also be seen on the field with top performing Marucci fielding gloves and other performance-driven products.
“Our partnership with Marucci is a game-changer,” said Mark Wasikowski, head baseball coach of the Oregon Ducks. “Their exceptional bats deliver unmatched power at the plate, while the craftsmanship of their fielding gloves will provide our players a competitive advantage for every play. Together, we're stepping up to a new level of excellence on the field."
Wasikowski is the 13th head baseball coach in Oregon’s history. Hired in 2019, the Ducks have succeeded in winning records every year under Coach Wasikowski’s leadership, including a 41-22 record in 2023 with a trip to the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals.
The move to the Big Ten for the 2025 season will pose some new challenges as well as some new big-time matchups and rivalries. As the Ducks’ new partner, Marucci will work closely with the staff and players, ensuring the team has the tools they need for their debut into the new conference with confidence and immediate success.
