Marucci Sports has inked a deal with Texas Tech Softball to become the official equipment provider of the Big 12 program.

“We’re excited to partner with Texas Tech, the first power 5 program we’re working with in college softball. They have great leadership and a talented group of athletes who are ready to compete and leave their mark on the program,” said Allison Parsell, Marucci’s Director of Softball Sales.

With the partnership, Marucci will be expanding their footprint in Division 1 softball and the Big 12 conference. Marucci Sports will be the exclusive provider of bats, fielding gloves, Lizard Skins grips and batting protective for the Red Raiders.

“With Texas Tech using our product, it’s going to elevate our brand awareness and show we are ready to compete in this space. It’s been a long time coming and we’re excited to finally put these bats and gloves in players’ hands,” added Parsell.

The Red Raiders, under Head Coach Craig Snider, head into the 2023 season with a roster full of upperclassman who are eager to take the field with Marucci products. The newly released Echo DMND bat line, which took years of athlete data and rigorous developmental testing, will be seen in Lubbock all season long.

“Marucci has taken care of our program and the players feel wanted. When they feel supported, we’re going to see the performance on the field. I see this as a long-lasting partnership that we’re going to have for a long time,” said Snider.
