Marucci’s fourth installment of the 2019 college round-up highlights six partners that recorded weekend sweeps and three others that took pivotal weekend series.
BASEBALL
Louisiana Tech
The Bulldogs shook off a midweek loss to UL-Monroe by pulling out three close C-USA victories over UAB.

LSU
The Tigers seemed to be entering a rough patch after losses to McNeese and Mississippi State. LSU turned it around by dominating the second-ranked Bulldogs in the final two contests to steal a key road series.
Nicholls
In a battle of the brand, the Colonels swept Lamar during a short road trip to Beaumont, grinding out two one-run wins.
Southern
The Jags outscored Prairie View A&M 41-12 while winning their final two games of an important home SWAC series.
Delgado (NJCAA)
The Dolphins posted an incredible 16-2 record in March and currently boast a 14-game winning streak, crushing Nunez Community College 10-1, 14-1, 1-0 and 6-0 over the weekend.
LSU-Alexandria (NAIA)
The Generals secured a perfect weekend over RRAC foe Texas College, squeezing an emphatic 11-0 victory between 9-6 and 13-7 wins.
SOFTBALL
UNLV
The Rebels recorded a road sweep of San Diego State, the first in program history. UNLV bested the Aztecs 4-3 in a 17-inning finale.

UMBC
Despite being chosen to finish last in the America East, the Retrievers took 2-of-3 in a conference series against Binghamton, aided by a perfect game from a freshman pitcher on Sunday.
Louisberg (NJCAA)
The Lady Hurricanes outscored Paul D. Camp Community College 42-13 during a flawless three-game home set.
