Alabama State

The Hornets closed their final 12 conference contests with a 10-2 mark, propelling them to the top of the SWAC East. ASU will face Prairie View A&M in the first round of the SWAC Tournament on May 15.

Baylor

The Bears (14-6) have a slight edge over Texas Tech (14-7) in the Big 12 standings. The only series that Baylor lost was against the Red Raiders. The Bears close league play with a three-game set against Oklahoma State (10-8) on May 16-18.

Southeastern Louisiana

Winners of seven straight Southland series, the Lions are tied with Sam Houston State atop the conference. The two teams face off in Hammond this weekend.

Southern

The Jags claimed seven of their eight SWAC series en route to a 15-5 conference record. Consequently, they will face Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the first round of the SWAC Tournament on May 15.

Texas State

The Bobcats have secured victories in 10 of their last 11 Sun Belt games and close with back-to-back series against Little Rock and UT Arlington, two teams that are chasing them for first place in the western division.
