Marucci Batting Gloves: Spotlight & Reviews
May 8th 2018
Marucci batting gloves are designed to meet professional standards of comfort, durability, and performance set by our Player Advisory Board.
Those standards are met through Marucci’s commitment to quality materials and its precise attention to detail, which can be found in all Marucci batting glove lines.
SIGNATURE BATTING GLOVES
Marucci’s top of the line batting glove series is the Pittards Signature collection. The digitally embossed Pittards sheepskin palm is a comfortable, natural-feeling material that features Gripster technology, which actually increases gripping power when wet from sweat or the elements.
The Signature Batting Glove line features the classic look and feel of Marucci batting gloves with a digitally embossed and perforated Cabretta sheepskin palm, which is pro preferred for its outstanding grip, feel and durability.
On both the Pittards and Signature lines, two-way stretch Lycra® inserts provide superior mobility and a sleek look, while the neoprene cuff provides unmatched comfort and support.
In between the fingers, the finger-break contours allow a natural grip without any bunching or pinching between the fabric and fingers while holding the bat.
One of a glove’s highest tear areas is located near the thumb. Marucci added a rubberized synthetic layer on the thumb to prevent friction abrasion in a high-wear area, which reduces the amount of ripping in that spot.
QUEST BATTING GLOVES
The Quest batting glove line was designed for superior mobility, flexibility and breathability with a stretch polymesh back that’s light and contours to your hand.
The palm features embossed genuine leather for durability, comfort and outstanding grip, while the cuff is made up of two layers of elastic with an inner Lycra® layer for flexibility, comfort and support.
F5 BATTING GLOVES
The F5 batting gloves were released in 2017 with a synthetic leather palm, which provides the durability, feel and performance of natural leather.
The back of the glove is made up of mesh and two-way stretch Lycra® knit for flexibility in fingers and back of the hand.
The F5 series also features the same finger-break contour construction found on the Signature line so there’s no pinching between finger and bat.
Marucci batting gloves are designed with the proper materials and features to meet Big League standards, but do they translate to players at every level? See what a few amateur players had to say about their Marucci batting gloves:
“Best batting gloves I've ever owned. Grip is awesome. They’re comfortable, don't pinch, and they look sweet!!! Will be ordering more!”
“My 15 year old son is tough on batting gloves, since he loves Marci bats I decided to try their batting gloves. Ordered him two pair as a gift and am very pleased with their performance so far. He hits with them in cages twice a week. He says they're comfortable, have just the right amount of grip, no holes yet and closure is holding up.”
“The Marucci Signature batting gloves are great. They lasted me 3 years of spring and summer baseball. They're by far the most comfy and durable gloves I've owned.”
