Founders’ Club Spotlight: Marucci Elite Texas
May 10th 2019
Our Marucci Founders’ Club Spotlight resumes with Marucci Elite Texas, the third team featured in this blog series that showcases Marucci’s premier amateur baseball and softball organizations.
Founded by former big leaguer Adam Dunn, Marucci Elite Texas fields 65 teams between 7-14U and 14 teams in 15-18U. The organization is primarily located in Houston with additional squads hailing from Dallas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Laredo and Tyler.
“Marucci has provided us the opportunity to provide a brand to our players in the state of Texas - a brand that is synonymous with class, professionalism, quality and respect from the highest level of the game to those just getting started,” said Chris Schultea, Marucci Elite Texas general manager. “We are not only honored, but proud to wear Marucci across our chest and represent everything Marucci stands for.”
Marucci Elite Texas hauled in 9U, 11U and 13U USSSA championships in April. This group has seen its athletes have recent success at the Marucci World Series, with Bryson Jackson winning the 2016 fastest man and Simeon Woods-Richardson and Alec Carr sharing the home run derby title in 2017.

About the Marucci Founders’
Club
The founders of Marucci built the
company on a dedication to superior quality and a relentless pursuit of
excellence that extended beyond the game of baseball. That pursuit of
excellence has allowed Marucci to forge partnerships with some of the nation’s
premier amateur baseball and softball organizations. With core values that
align with those of the Marucci Founders, these programs were selected for
their dedication to excellence on and off the field, reputation as a positive
influence in their community, and commitment to growing their organization and,
in turn, the Marucci mission. We call this elite alliance the Founders’ Club.
