For the 7^th annual Marucci World Series, Marucci Sports has enlisted the expertise of 2D Sports to elevate the event experience. As the logistics partner, 2D Sports will handle all player registrations, game scheduling, score updates, weather delays, communication during the event, and player data collection at each field.

Event Director and Vice President of Team Sales at Marucci, Kyle Achord said, "our goal since 2016 has been to make the Marucci World Series the best event our organizations play in all summer. The invite-only Marucci World Series is a competitive youth baseball tournament comprised of Marucci Franchise Club and Founders’ Club organizations. These teams are an alliance of elite travel baseball organizations in long-term partnerships with Marucci that are committed to excellence on-and-off the field, have positive reputations of service in their communities, and align with the brands’ core values.

Since inception in 2014, 2D Sports has hosted some of the best events throughout the Southeast, at both the youth and high school level. 2D Sports has grown from just 5 events in a single state to over 150 events per year across eight states in the Southeast. Each year, 2D Sports serves over 5,000 teams and 60,000 athletes.
