"My son swung a CatX2 alloy (balanced bat) last year, but this year I was looking for the happy medium, and wanted a slightly end-loaded bat for him to give him a little more pop since he grew a year and is a little bigger now. So far, this bat has been great. It has a different feel than an alloy bat, but he's gotten used to it."
