BATON ROUGE. LA – Marucci Sports announced that they will be launching a youth version of their on-field MV463 performance sunglasses, the “MV463 Youth.” This is Marucci’s first model specifically tailored for smaller faces and is set to be released early December, in time for the holiday season.
Consistent with Marucci’s existing sunglass line, the MV463 Youth will feature Carl Zeiss Vision lens technology providing the highest-level of eye protection and enhanced clarity customized for baseball and softball players. These lenses will utilize a green base allowing for true color recognition while tracking the ball against green grass or blue sky, and the frames will be available in matte black and matte white.
The MV463 Youth will add to Marucci’s collection of sunglasses that were launched earlier this year, which includes two models designed for on-field use (MV463, MV108) and three polarized lifestyle (Gancio, Omero, Porto) models. Marucci’s sunglasses are available online at maruccisports.com, at Marucci Clubhouse locations, and at select eye care professionals and retail optical locations through a distribution and license agreement with CAR Eyewear.
Since late 2018, Marucci and CAR Eyewear have partnered together on the distribution of the Marucci Vision sunwear line as well as the design, manufacturing and distribution of the Marucci Vision ophthalmic eyewear line. Through CAR Eyewear’s non-profit organization, CAR Eyewear Cares, a portion of every frame sold will be donated to Prevent Blindness.
