Continually recruiting the best travel ball organizations in the country, Marucci Sports has added the Delmarva Aces to their Founders’ Club.
“We are very excited to be joining the Marucci Founders’ Club. Whether it be their best-in-class product lines in their family of brands, convenient ordering process, or the opportunity to work with international brands, going direct with Marucci allows us to continue to raise the bar for travel baseball in the Mid-Atlantic,” said Dave Whigham, Owner/Founder/President of the Delmarva Aces.
The Founders’ Club is comprised of some of the most elite amateur baseball and fastpitch organizations across the United States. These organizations are selected based on their dedication to excellence on and off the field, reputation of being a positive influence in their community, and commitment to growing their organization. With this partnership, the Delmarva Aces are granted exclusive benefits, early access to products and an invitation to compete at the Marucci World Series.
Whigham continues, “Our future now runs through Marucci and we are pumped to be working with Kyle, Tanna and the crew down in Baton Rouge.”
Kyle Achord, Marucci Vice President of Team Sales, shares Whigham’s views for the future of this partnership. “Our Team Sales staff’s never-ending quest to find the best travel baseball and fastpitch organizations in the country helped us discover the Delmarva Aces. Once we had the opportunity to meet with Dave and learn more about him and the Aces organization, we knew they were the right fit to join our Founders’ Club. Their Attitude, Commitment, Effort, and Success (ACES) focus are some of the same core beliefs we have.”
“Their program is also unique in that you can start as a Lil Ace at 5 years old and play into your 40’s on their men’s baseball team,” adds Achord. Their comprehensive program consists of 5U-7U Lil Aces development program, 8U-18U youth baseball program, 15U-18U showcase program, college summer league team and an over-40 men’s baseball team.
The Aces had 52 teams, made up of nearly 600 players during the 2022/2023 season, spanning from Delaware to Maryland to Virginia. They have placed 192 student-athletes into college baseball since 2017.
