Introducing the CATX

The latest addition to the legendary metal bat line, the CATX, reflects the most technological advancements from previous generations. The CATX line has new barrel profiles that create a larger and more consistent performance area, and based on data from the Baseball Performance Lab, the bats are also more balanced. Over 90% of athletes tested in the Baseball Performance Lab performed better with a more balanced model, leading to optimizations of the balance points. The CATX line also features ergonomic handle tapers, designed for each weight drop* for a better fit, more bat control, and a better overall feel between athlete and bat.

A DEEPER LOOK AT THE CATX LINES
The CATX is the best feeling one-piece bat on the market. Designed with a thermally treated AZR alloy for a hot out of the wrapper design, the CATX is all about performance. Athlete data and feedback showed faster swing speeds with a more balanced feeling bat, so the balance point was moved 1” closer to the hands. To reduce vibration, the same technology used in skyscrapers was adapted into the Liquid-Gel dampening knob. For a smooth, solid feel during contact, the optimal amount of liquid-gel is situated in the knob to reduce and absorb vibrations. The ergonomic, custom-molded handle taper creates more bat control and better feel and is easily removable based on athlete preferences.
The one-piece CATX is available in five sizes: BBCOR certified -3, USSSA certified -5, -8, -10 and Junior Big Barrel -10.
The CATX Connect is a two-piece bat made for power. An AZR alloy barrel is connected to a stiffer S-40 composite handle by the Outer-Locking-System. The Outer-Locking-System attaches the handle to the barrel from the outside in, creating the stiffest connection, while dismissing virtually all vibrations on contact. The new S-40 composite handle is stiffer from previous models, creating more energy transfer from player to ball on contact. The balance point was moved .25” closer to the hands to slightly balance the end-loaded design. The ergonomic, custom-molded handle taper creates more bat control and better feel and is easily removable based on athlete preferences.
The CATX Connect is available in four sizes: BBCOR certified -3 and USSSA certified -5, -8, -10.
The CATX Composite is a two-piece, fully composite bat that features the Outer-Locking System, connecting the S-40 composite handle to the MDX composite barrel, creating a bat that is mid-balanced for a smooth and easy swing. The barrel profiles on the CATX Composite were fine-tuned to generate faster swing speeds while maintaining the larger composite barrels. The ergonomic, custom-molded handle taper creates more bat control and better feel and is easily removable based on athlete preferences. The USSSA models have already received high praise as The Baseball Bat Bros named the CATX Composite the hottest bat in recent history.

The CATX Composite Tee Ball bat is a fully composite, one-piece bat. Designed with lightweight composite material for more bat control and faster swings. The CATX Composite Tee Ball bat features the Liquid-Gel anti-vibration technology that reduces and absorbs vibrations on contact.
