In honor of the beginning of this year’s Women’s College World Series, Marucci Softball Ambassador and NFCA Hall of Fame coach Yvette Girouard explains the benefits of being a spectator and noticing the little things that helped these eight teams realize their dream of making it to the game’s biggest stage.

Girouard explains that while physical reps and drills are necessary, sometimes just watching how players approach, execute, and adjust can provide small insights that can improve your game significantly. With five Women’s College World Series appearances of her own, those small insights have come in handy for Girouard.
