Marucci’s fifth edition of the 2019 college round-up spotlights eight college partners that swept and a squad that captured a home series over a ranked opponent.
BASEBALL
Louisiana Tech
A seven-game winning streak has the Bulldogs back on this list. LA Tech enjoyed its eight-game home stretch, besting McNeese 10-4 on Wednesday before sweeping Conference USA opponent UTSA.
LSU
The Tigers blanked Grambling (9-0) and South Alabama (2-0) and closed out a week at The Box by taking 2-of-3 versus No. 14 Texas A&M.

Saint Mary’s College
The Gaels boast a 6-3 WCC record following their home sweep of Portland. SMC grinded out three close wins, 4-2, 2-1 and 1-0, capped by a complete-game shutout from one of its stellar sophomores.

The Bald Eagles took down PSAC foe Mansfield in a four-game set.
Cairn (Division III)
The Highlanders outscored conference opponent Valley Forge 49-6 during a three-game sweep.
Seminole State (NJCAA)
The Trojans steamrolled Arkansas Baptist College 10-0, 10-3 and 11-1.
SOFTBALL
McNeese
The reigning SLC Tournament champs defeated Abilene Christian in three close road games.
Nicholls
The preseason SLC favorites improved their home record to 6-3, topping Northwestern State 10-0, 5-1, and 6-1.
