BATON ROUGE, LA– Marucci announced continual partnership between the Richmond Country Baseball Club and Marucci Founders’ Club on Thursday.

“The Richmond County Baseball Club is excited to extend our relationship with Marucci Sports and continue as a member of their exclusive Founders’ Club,” said RCBC Executive Director Nick DeFendis. “The relationship provides our program with great Marucci uniforms, apparel and equipment as well as the opportunity to participate in special events like the Marucci World Series. We look forward to this partnership for many years to come.”

For over 15 years, DeFendis and the RCBC team have developed players ranging from divisions 7U to 17U. The well-respected club not only competes at the local level, but they also organize and run elite tournaments at their five-field baseball complex. The RCBC teams also participate in nationwide competitions, such as the Marucci World Series.

Tallying more than 150 college signees and a number of professionally drafted alumni, the Richmond County Baseball Club elevates their players to the next level. These RCBC top notch teams will remain representatives of the elite Marucci Founders’ Club in the Northeast.
