BATON ROUGE, LA – Marucci Sports will host the 2nd Annual Marucci World Series, an amateur baseball tournament featuring 48 teams in the 15U, 16U and 17U age divisions, from Wednesday to Sunday in Baton Rouge and nearby locations.

Other venues include The Shrine On Airline, home of the New Orleans Babycakes (AAA-Miami), Southeastern La. University, Dunham High, Dutchtown High, North Park, Runnels and Walker High. All games are open to the public.

College coaches from over 60 schools will be attending the tournament to scout the outstanding talent on display including Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Houston, Lamar, Texas-Rio Grande Valley, LSU, Southeastern Louisiana, Tulane, Nicholls State, Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese State, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech, Northwestern State, Ole Miss, Miss State, Southern Miss, Alabama, Auburn, South Alabama, BYU, Memphis and Columbia University.
