Marucci continued its College Round-Up blog series Tuesday, highlighting its top performing college partners.

BASEBALL

St. Mary’s College

The Gaels are one of the hottest teams in college baseball, riding an eight-game winning streak into Tuesday’s contest at Nevada. SMC topped Rider University Wednesday and swept West Coast Conference opponent Pacific over the weekend.

East Tennessee State

The Bucs carry a five-game winning streak into Tuesday’s home game against Tennessee. ETSU took 2-of-3 at Georgia State on March 8-9 before cruising past NJIT this past weekend. The Bucs host No. 22 Tennessee Tuesday at 6 p.m.

LSU

The 12th-ranked Tigers shook off a midweek loss to Northwestern State by pounding Texas Southern, 16-5, Wednesday and sweeping Kentucky in their SEC opener at Alex Box.

Albany St. (Div. II)

The Golden Rams pummeled Valdosta State, 8-1, Wednesday and proceeded to go 4-0 against SIAC opponent Lane College over the weekend. ASU tallied at least 10 runs in all four of its contests against the Dragons.

Spring Hill College (Div. II)

Joining the Golden Rams with at least 10 runs per game, Spring Hill College outscored Paine College 55-11 while besting the Lions in all four SIAC battles.

Chipola College (JuCo)

The Eagles are on this list for the second week in a row and have not lost in March. Chipola boasts a 10-game winning streak, downing Tallahassee CC, 11-1, Tuesday before a perfect three-game set against Pensacola State College over the weekend.

Delgado (JuCo)

The Dolphins posted a 7-0 record last week which included a 5-0 mark at the Disney Baseball Spring Invitational. Delgado posted wins over Erie CC, Mott CC and Triton College at the tournament.

SOFTBALL

North Florida

The Ospreys extended its winning streak to eight games as they picked up a 4-0 midweek win over Georgia Southern on Wednesday and earned victories over Army, Buffalo, Butler, Monmouth and Princeton at the Clearwater Spring Break Invitational over the weekend. UNF travels to No. 3 Florida State on Wednesday.

Louisburg College (JuCo)

The sixth-ranked Lady Hurricanes (17-2) have upped their winning streak to 15 games, downing Patrick Henry four times this past weekend. LC also picked up wins over Prairie State and Rend Lake Tuesday and outscored Southeastern-Whiteville 19-7 in two wins on Thursday.
