Marucci Clubhouse set to debut in Orlando

Sep 17th 2019

BATON ROUGE – Marucci Sports announced Tuesday that a new Marucci Clubhouse site will be opening in Orlando with a tentative opening set for October 2019.

“Orlando is filled with baseball and softball players and is home to one of our largest Founders’ Club organizations in the Scorpions,” Marucci Co-Founder and CEO Kurt Ainsworth said. “This Marucci Clubhouse will provide a year-round training facility and specialty retail store for athletes of all ages and skill levels.”

Marucci Clubhouse Orlando will be contained inside a 27,000 square foot newly-renovated indoor facility. The inside will hold four public cages, 24/7-member access to six additional cages and three bullpens, and air-conditioned club-level seating for spectators.

Marucci Clubhouse Orlando will deliver the full Marucci Experience to consumers, including a specialty retail store filled exclusively with Marucci and Victus products that customers can learn about and purchase directly from Marucci’s seasoned staff. Patrons will also have opportunities to demo new products, test new innovations and purchase products first.

“I could not be prouder to open Marucci Clubhouse Orlando,” said Bob Rikeman, also the president of the Scorpions. “I have always dreamed of building my own baseball and softball facility. To have the opportunity to make that dream a reality with Marucci is surreal. I have said since joining the Marucci Founders' Club that Marucci has the best people and the best product. I wanted this to be a place where people would come to improve their strength and athletic skills while having the luxury of getting all of their baseball and softball needs in one place.”

The address of the facility is 1085 Belle Avenue. This will be one of multiple Marucci Clubhouse locations opening within the year, joining Austin, Lafayette, and Midwest (Ozark, Missouri). There are currently two Marucci Clubhouse sites in Louisiana, located in Baton Rouge and Covington.
